Samantha Johnson DVM

Dr. Samantha Johnson is a 2009 graduate of the University of MInnesota College of Veterinary medicine. After Working in the Twin Cities for a few years, she moved back to closer to Rochester and started working part-time at Byron Pet Clinic in August of 2015. Dr. Johnson most enjoys surgery and internal medicine as well as getting to know our great clients and their pets.  Although both a cat and dog lover, cats hold a special place in her heart. Dr. Johnson lives on a hobby farm with her husband, two daughters, two dogs, three cats, six sheep, several chickens and a goat. In her free time, Samantha enjoys being outside, sewing, baking, and playing with her kids. 


Alison Bjork

Alison Bjork-Pease, D.V.M. joined Byron Pet Clinic in 2019. Originally from Rockford, Illinois, Dr. Bjork has had a love for animals from a young age, knowing she wanted to pursue a career as a veterinarian from the age of 4. Dr. Bjork attended Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois to complete her undergraduate studies in biology. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Bjork also holds a certification in veterinary medicine business principles. Clinically, Dr. Bjork specializes in primary care for small animals with a special interest in behavioral medicine. She is invested in the long-term health and well-being of her patients. Professionally, Dr. Bjork is an active member of the Minnesota Veterinary Medicine Association, the American Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Association of Feline Practitioners. Outside of work, she enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle, participating in triathlons and paddleboarding in the many lakes here in Minnesota. She and her husband reside in Rochester with their two cats, Nessie, Bandit, and their dog, Kira.
